Boris Miketic – CEO

Croatia Travel Agency Inc. in New York City as represented by Boris Miketic has been active in travel for over twenty-two (22) years resulting in long-standing relationships with many Travel Industry Business Partners. Mr. Miketic has developed and nurtured these relationships to ensure his Agency has the best-negotiated rates with major airlines and can provide the traveling public with exceptional customer service. Mr. Miketic is an avid traveler and has visited over one hundred (100) countries in five (5) continents. Such extensive travel makes him a strong advocate for his customers seeking travel advice. On a recent visit to Antigua and Barbuda, Mr. Miketic was acquainted with Mr. Gaston Brown, the Prime Minister.

Mr. Miketic is fluent in English, Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian and Montenegrin languages and is a certified translator.  He is conversational in German, French, and Spanish. He is a graduate in Law from the University of Zagreb and has an Economics degree from CUNY Queens College. Thus, in addition to his travel expertise, Mr. Miketic provides legal assistance on birth/death certification, divorce documents, power of attorney and other legal needs. Mr. Miketic is also a notary public in both Queens and Manhattan Counties.

Mr. Miketic is very active in the Croatian community in NYC interacting with Croatian Tourism NYC, Croatian Consul General NYC as well as participating in local political and celebratory events. For the last fifteen (15) years, Mr. Miketic has hosted the Croatian Radio Show in NYC and is secretary of the Radio Club. The program airs Wednesday and Saturday on WNYE 91.5 FM with intent to convey news and broadcast traditional Croatian music to the Community.

Mr. Miketic is the recipient of the presidential medal ”The order of Croatian weaver” presented to him by the first president of Croatia, dr. Franjo Tudjman.
